Epson Stylus 1390 is an inkjet printer with a difference. This printer is a colour, photo printer that uses six colour cartridges to print stunning prints on
media sizes up to A3+. The INKdividual cartridges use dye based ink to optimise ink usage and deliver vivid photo prints. With

Body
Sleekly built, this Epson Photo printer fits into compact spaces. With dimensions of 615 x 314 x 223 mm with the trays closed, this printer can be neatly tucked away when not in use. With the trays open during operation, the Photo 1390 measures 615 x 803 x 413 mm. The chassis of this printer is aesthetically built with curved surfaces and rounded edges.
The input tray has extenders designed to accommodate a variety of paper sizes and paper weights. This input tray can hold up to 120 sheets of 90 GSM (g/m²) paper. The Photo printer can hold paper of weight up to 255 GSM. The sheet feeder at the end of this tray uses friction feed method and optimises paper feed using Auto Sheet Feed (ASF). The output tray extends in front of the Epson Photo printer. The printer cover, on the top of printer, opens up to reveal the printing mechanism and the print head dock. The print head holds the six individual cartridges that can be separately replaced, by opening the cartridge cover and ejecting the cartridges. The access to the printing mechanism is useful to clear paper jams.
The control panel is lodged on the front of the printer. This panel has three buttons and corresponding lights - Power On, Ink, and Paper. The Ink button is pressed to move the print head to the dock where it can be removed for replacement of the cartridges. The Ink button can be pressed again to return the print head to its default position. The Ink light stays on to indicate the good-to-go status of ink. If it goes off, then the Ink button may be pressed for three seconds and the print head will be cleaned. The Paper button and light are used know status of paper jams, eject paper or resume printing after an empty-tray error is resolved and other such paper related errors. Connectivity is provided by USB 2.0 port at the rear of the printer. The Power cable connects to the power socket placed beside the USB port.

The
Epson Stylus 1390 printer has a printing speed of 15 ppm for monochrome and colour text draft prints. The Stylus 1390 printer can print an A4 sized photo in 111 seconds and an A3 sized photo in 173 seconds. With Ultra Micro Dot droplet size of 1.5 pico litre (pl), this Epson Photo printer prints with a maximum print resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi, letting you print your high resolution pictures with great clarity and finish. The T0851 Black cartridge has a standard yield of 470 sheets while the other five colour cartridges - T0852, T0853, T0854, T0855, and T0856, yield 810 sheets (yields measured using ISO/IEC FCD 24711 and 24712 Test Suite).
